Dell is about 50 mins from the airport. We usually go via Culloden and Daviot on the A9 (for speed), but for the best views, take the Dores road (B862 then B852) after Inverness and travel all along the southern shores of Loch Ness.

Coming by road, we often take the western route after Glasgow, via Glen Coe (see pic) and Fort William. If you come/go via the A9, be prepared for a very pleasant assault on your bank balance at the House of Bruar near Blair Atholl.
